What is a source-cited company intelligence brief?
A Salient One intelligence brief assembles decision evidence about a named company, person, vessel, or supplier. The search checks sanctions and debarment sources, adverse media, corporate registry records, beneficial ownership and control, related entities, and the operating-country risk context. Each available finding retains its source and date. The output separates established facts, risk implications, unavailable sources, and recommended next actions so reviewers can see both the evidence and its limits.
When should you run a brief?
Run one before supplier onboarding, a tender award, investment approval, contract renewal, payment escalation, market entry, or any decision where sanctions, ownership, reputation, or geopolitical exposure could change the acceptable course of action.
Does a clear result approve the counterparty?
No. A clear search means no blocking signal was identified in the sources that responded at that time. It is not a certification, legal opinion, or guarantee. Confirm identity, inspect the cited evidence, resolve missing sources, and apply your organisation's approval controls.
