[S/1] SCORECARD — TERMS

Terms of Use

Effective: 23 August 2026. By accessing the S/1 platform at s1.salientone.eu you agree to these terms.

1. Informational Purpose Only

Scorecard aggregates publicly available country risk indicators from official open-data sources. The composite risk band, numeric score, and all indicator values are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, due diligence, compliance certification, or a recommendation to act or refrain from acting in any jurisdiction.

2. No Warranty

Salient One makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of any data displayed. Indicators are sourced from third-party publishers; Salient One does not independently verify each data point and is not responsible for errors or omissions in source datasets.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Salient One and its practitioners, directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or reliance on Scorecard data.

4. Intellectual Property

The S/1 mark, Scorecard methodology, composite risk model, and site design are proprietary to Salient One. Indicator data values remain the property of their respective publishers.

5. Dataset Use and Attribution

The public JSON and CSV distributions may be inspected, analysed and quoted with attribution to Salient One, the dataset title, observation date and canonical URL. This permission does not grant rights over upstream source material, remove source-specific terms, or permit the S/1 methodology or complete distributions to be republished as another party's product. Users remain responsible for checking the terms of the cited source.

6. Sanctions Screening

Screening output identifies candidate name and identifier similarities for review. A candidate match is not an identity or legal determination, and no candidate match is not clearance or evidence that a subject is absent from every applicable list. Users must verify the subject, source record, effective date, ownership or control, applicable programme and governing law before acting. Anonymous access is rate-limited and may be restricted to prevent automated extraction or abuse.

The public sanctions coverage manifest contains aggregate source metadata and does not redistribute or license underlying designation records. Rights and restrictions in each official source continue to apply.

The sanctions recorded-geography distribution contains aggregate active index-record counts only. Counts are not unique people or companies, prevalence rates, country-risk rankings, evidence of wrongdoing, or legal determinations. Geography can reflect differing upstream concepts including nationality, citizenship, jurisdiction, address or programme context. Small cells may be suppressed, and unassigned records must not be inferred into a geography. The distribution must not be used to profile a nationality or impute culpability.
