Country × Sector × Commodity Risk Dataset

A machine-readable evidence layer for routing supplier due diligence. Source facts, retrieval times and Salient One-derived interpretations are published as separate fields so each observation can be evaluated on its own terms.

How to interpret the fields

commodity
The source-defined commodity, raw material or good when one is named; null means the observation applies at sector level.
subject
Compatibility alias preserving the broader commodity, material or product scope.
risk_level
Null means the source observation has no comparable S1 qualitative level; it is never inferred as low or moderate.
source_effective_date
Publication, effective or observation date supplied by or assigned to the underlying source. It is distinct from retrieval time.
source_data_effective_through
Latest underlying source-effective date present in this release; it is not a claim that every source has that date.
retrieved_at
Time the S1 engine retrieved or refreshed the record. It is not represented as the source observation date.
derived_by
Named derivation owner when a published value or band is calculated or interpreted rather than copied directly from the source.
enforcement_status
Source-defined current status for enforcement observations. Inactive CBP actions are excluded from this current release.
content_digest
Deterministic semantic change identifier; not a cryptographic authenticity guarantee.

The complete derivation rules, thresholds and source-specific limitations are documented in the sourcing-risk methodology. Current source health is published in the source directory.

Ukraine evidence pathway · public evidence to verification

What evidence should a buyer check before relying on a Ukrainian counterparty?

S1 establishes country, sector, commodity and public-list signals. Salient One publishes the method and its limits. Ukraine 1 resolves what the public record cannot establish.

Current Ukraine source slice (2024): 3 child-labour category observations and 0 forced-labour category observations across 3 goods. 2 of 3 goods currently map to the shared sector taxonomy. Unmapped and retained rather than guessed: Pornography.

01S1-derived signal

Country context

Use governance, conflict, corruption, sanctions and economic indicators to route the depth of review—not to decide whether a company is acceptable.

Open the Ukraine scorecard
02Official fact + mapped signal

Sector and commodity evidence

Inspect source-listed goods separately from the sectors S1 can map conservatively. An unmapped good remains visible instead of being forced into a category.

03Candidate signal

Entity and public-list screening

Search names and variants across public restriction sources, then resolve every material candidate against identifiers, ownership and the issuing authority.

04Published method

Counterparty verification

Move through legal identity, ownership and control, procurement, litigation, distress and present operating capacity in a reproducible sequence.

Source availability

Ukraine 1 escalation

Escalate when public evidence cannot settle identity, actual control, relationships or operating capacity and the decision requires Ukrainian-language or on-the-ground verification.

These layers route due diligence. They do not determine the legality, reliability or suitability of a specific company, product, shipment, transaction or relationship.

Material release notes

  1. 2026-08-22 · method

Schema 2.0 separates source-effective dates, retrieval dates, source facts, enforcement status and Salient One derivations.

  2. 2026-08-22 · source

Official child- and forced-labour goods are mapped conservatively into the shared sector taxonomy; unmapped goods remain available in the source table and are not assigned by default.

  3. 2026-08-22 · source

Forest-area change is attributed to the World Bank indicator and the derived calculation is identified separately.

Decision-use and reuse limits

Country-sector-commodity observations route due diligence. They do not determine the risk, legality or suitability of a specific supplier, product, shipment, transaction or relationship. No matching observation is not evidence of absence; source coverage and publication cycles differ.

See the usage terms. A semantic digest identifies a distinct current release; historical immutable snapshots are the next release-stage enhancement.
